About Me:
Recently I received an e-mail asking whether I was a born-again Christian. This rather puzzled me at first, because it seemed to me the answer was blatantly obvious to any casual observer of any of my websites... but then I decided the question might indeed be legitimate and warrant serious response, so here goes:
I, Doris Howie, founder and webmaster of OHzone and OH Canada, am a born-again (Canadian) Christian and servant of the living Lord, Jesus Christ our Saviour. Thank You, Jesus, for Your enabling of my efforts to glorify our Father in Heaven!
My questioner also wondered what denominational affiliation I claimed. That's easy. None. I have attended services at numerous churches, and sometimes been blessed by the attending... but in all matters of doctrine I bow my knee to no man, woman, child or organization other than the indwelling Holy Spirit and the inerrant Word of God.
While I'm telling you a bit about myself, perhaps it would be in order to mention that OHzone is mine and mine alone, and is my offering to His glory, in the service of His people and those who would learn more about Him. OHzone is funded by no group or individual aside from my beloved late husband, and now my widow's pension. We moved to northern Ontario in August, 2004, six months to the day before my Archie died on February 25, 2005.

He'll help you too, if you will just surrender your situation - and your life - to Him. He loves you more than you can ever imagine, and He wants to give you love, and joy, and peace. Hallelujah!
Incidentally, it is no secret what God can do with a very inadequate offering of service. I'm living proof of just how mightily He can work His perfect will "against all odds"; it's been the story of my life for years, and I'll not stop now, because without Him I am nothing. Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow!
Be blessed, dear hearts, and please, stay surrendered to the King of kings, and safely in His loving arms, seeking the guidance of His Holy Spirit, for the days are evil..
