Minutes After, Christ's smiling Presence:
My friend Lindy was broken-hearted when Patchy-Poo - a small cat she and her husband had saved as a kitten, and nurtured for years - was finally beyond help. His liver and kidneys were shutting down yesterday (March 25th, 2008) when she took him to the veterinarian for the last time. Hugging and kissing Patchy-Poo and telling him over and over how much they loved him, Lindy kept telling the little cat, "You're going to go to sleep now, Patchy-Poo. When you wake up, you run to Jesus, you hear? You just run to Jesus. He's waiting for you."
The vet asked her about her faith that Jesus was waiting for the little cat, and also that the cat would wake up in Heaven.
"Well," said Lindy, "He loves us, and He loves the little sparrows, and He knows all about every little detail of our lives. Doesn't it follow that our babies (pets) are important to Him too? After all, HE gave them to us!"
She repeated her testimony to the people at the front desk on her way back to the car, tears streaming down her face as she spoke but nothing lessening the depth of her conviction.
Twenty minutes later, as she was driving down the highway on her way home, Jesus was right there beside her in the car - and Patchy-Poo was in His arms! Both were looking straight at her. Jesus was smiling, and the little cat's beautiful green eyes were wide open and happy. His body was filled out and glistening with good health already, and he was just SO happy.
We praise You, Lord; we PRAISE You! Thank You so much for this reassurance for those of us whose animals are such a large part of our lives. Bless You, Lord; we love You.
"According to your faith be it unto you."
"Be not afraid; only believe."
A Dream/Vision Years After:
My dear friend Ruthie Pletcher dreamed she was walking along a country road when she saw Jesus walking along it ahead of her. When He looked back and saw her running to catch up with Him, He crooked his elbow as an elderly gentleman might to allow a lady to slip her arm through His, and when she caught up with Him, that is just what she did, and they continued to walk arm-in-arm along the road.
Suddenly there was her little dog, Cheyenne, running circles around their feet, jumping up, barking, happy, excited, totally joyous to see her again. She was RADIANT with joy herself, and stooped down to pick him up. Holding him in her arms, she kissed him on the top of his little head...
and woke up from her dream.
***
Cheyenne had died three years before, and Ruthie had been grieving him terribly, especially recently when many things were going wrong in her life and she missed his comforting presence beside her.

Be blessed, dear hearts. We WILL see our pets again when we get to Heaven. These visions confirm it, as does the Spirit within me. I share it with you in the hopes that it will bring comfort to you, too.
Hallelujah, people; Christ is KING!! :-)
